Sponsored Community Wellness Program
With everything that is going on in the world right now, Mental Wellness is a subject that cannot be ignored, especially with our Youth.
In making sure that no one falls through the cracks because they cannot afford it, we are hoping to get the local business involved in our Sponsored Community Wellness Program.
When local businesses help our youth.
The goal is to ask and encourage local businesses to sponsor Youth in our Community giving them access to Equine Assisted Learning & Zootherapy Youth Workshops.
The participant will have access to 12 weeks at the rate of 1 session/week.
The program is open to Youth between 8 and 16 years old.
To become a Sponsored Youth, the Participant must be referred by a Teacher, Social Worker, Therapist, Parent etc. An application form will be made available on our website.
Eligibility will be determined by a panel of volunteers. The name of the applicants will not be given to this panel, but only the section: Tell us why you think this Youth would benefit from participating in this program.
How much does it cost?
The cost of sponsoring 1 Youth is $900.00 or $75.00/session for 12 weeks at the rate of 1 session/week.
We can also ‘’partner up’’ small businesses.
Therefore, if Covid has hit hard for your business as well, you can still help by contributing what you can, and we will match your sponsorship with another business.
What do the Kids get out of it?
Our Youth programs help develop positive social skills in a neutral, non-judgmental, and fun environment. With the help of our magnificent horses, they move through circuits of obstacle courses to build life skills such as:
